Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

THIS IS THE ZELDA FIC OF MY DREAMS!!! I so rarely fall in love w/ zelda fic that I almost did a spit take when I realized I had read this in the span of one night b/c I was just so absorbed by it. It fleshes out the universe so well and all of the characters are just so. durn. likeable! I really like this particular characterization of Link and Ganondorf- they each have their own motivations and flaws and they feel real and nuanced in a way that a silent protagonist and an ancient evil aren't usually shown to be. I love the succinctness of the author's writing, too. Nothing is said that doesn't need to be said, and they've really mastered the concept of "show, don't tell" for which I give them mad respect as an author. Not to mention it's a complete work, so you won't cry for 9,000 years after realizing it'll never be finished. So read it! Do it! Do it now! And leave plenty of kudos and comments, or the ghost of under-appreciated fandom authors will haunt you forever!

This fic is so good! I had already bookmarked the remix but never the original- they are both so good! I really cant say anything more than that it's a wonderful, well-written exporation of terezi through the eyes of her friends. I highly recommend it to terezi lovers or really just anyone who likes good fic!

I found this through pure dumb luck and it's something I wouldn't have expected to end up loving so much, but damn is this ever a great fic! An unexpected pairing from a pretty small fandom, but the author writes it so well that it makes perfect sense and makes me wonder why we're not all writing Peter Pan fic. I absoutely love the way this is written! Sinope seamlessly blends the real and the fantastic in the way that they portray Neverland and the real England existing side by side, and the way that it's written reflects that blend beautifully. This is a really wonderful fic and I recommend it to anyone who loves Peter Pan or just good writing in general!

Scourge Sisters for the win! God damn this is good stuff! A great look at what Terezi and Vriska might have been had Sburb never happened. I only wish it was longer, cuz I love how this author writes the two of them! Hot, in-character, and leaves you wishing you could see how a crime-busting semi-partnership between the two of them would work. A+, 5 stars, 10/10!

An oldie but a goodie- I can't believe I never bookmarked this one before! It's not a super romantic pairing fic but, really, what about this hilarious, terrible, terrible, ship is romantic? Funny with a bittersweet ending and spot on Karkat and John characterizations; its a Homestuck staple fic. No balanced John/Karkat breakfast is complete without it!!!

This is such a great fic- I love the parallels Gatty draws between Feferi and Vriska's situations with their lusii and how they handled them so differently. I especially love the Feferi and Vriska interaction at the end since it's something we don't get to see a lot of in canon even though they have a surprising amount of common ground. Gatty gets each of the characters voices so perfect and it's just flat out well-written. A great fic that manages to be both funny and gut-wrenching. Love, would read again, 10/10!!!

I feel that very few authors manage to convey Gintama's sense of humor well in fic form, but Xparrot manages it beautifully!!! I don't know much about Doctor Who but this fic makes me wanna watch it! Oh, man, I love this trope! And this is the rare fic that really does justice to the genre. There are so many little details that the author includes that flesh out the FFVII universe in really cool ways; and even though I kinda hate all the FFVII compilation stuff apart from FFVII itself, this fic makes it all bearable somehow. A must read for people who love to imagine the ways characters who've never met might interact and those who love "what might have been" fics. Endless props for this fic and this author. Love, love, love!!!!

This fic is part of a kick-ass series that I'd recommend to any Star Trek fan, but this is the one that gets to me the most. Oh man, what can I say about this fic? There are exactly three fics in all of the fic I have ever read that have made me bawl like a baby and this one is one of them. It's so good. That's really all I can say- the end makes me cry every time. But no worries- its not a doom and gloom fic at all! It just fills in that canon gap between the original series and the first movie where its clear something went wrong but no one ever explicitly says what. Its got a good plot that reads like an episode of Star Trek and it moves along at a good clip. Beware, though, there are emotional sucker punches around every corner, and when you get to the end it really feels like you've reached the end of an era. I can't explain the weirdly cathartic attraction this fic holds for me any better than by saying: GO READ IT NOW BECAUSE IT'S SO GOOD BUT BRING LOTS OF TISSUES!!!!

I'm always surprised by the lack of fic there is that deals w the fact that the Condesce basically raised John, Jade, Jake, and Jane at one point in time considering that we never get much of a glimpse of what that must have been like. I would love to read a fic where those relationships get more fully fleshed out but this fills the void in the meantime! Excellent and creepy- I love it!

FANTASTIC! Ohhh tz love of my heart. Every chapter is perfect but I think this has some of my all-time favorite Vriska/Terezi interactions in particular! The only thing I wish is that there had been a chapter for Rose since I love any and all permutations of Rose/Terezi. But this really is Terezi's show and this fic does her character justice to the max. EXCELLENT, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
