Summary
Every time Soobin has his eyes on him, Yeonjun feels like he’s made out of a thin, opalescent glass. Completely fucking transparent. The waves crash behind them, in and out, whoops and hollers of rowdy youth, the heat radiating off the fire, suffocating. Soobin’s eyes look right through him.
He can feel his heartbeat, strong and fast against his ribcage.
Another lollipop.
A moment of silence, and then, “What flavor?”
He watches the flames lick up the logs in the pit, slowly eating away at their casing.
“Strawberry.”
(OR: Yeonjun is forced back into his hometown after being kicked out of university and a brief stint in rehab only to find that the boy he used to bully in high school grew up into everything he's ever needed)

Irresistible. Beomgyu is irresistible, and Soobin knows that Kai is seeing it too. He recognizes that look, that helpless, heart-struck look on Kai's face. It’s his own look, the shaking feeling he gets when Beomgyu hits him with a particularly dazzling smile. The one he gets when Beomgyu rolls over in bed and blinks himself awake, eyelashes trapping Soobin's gaze.
Soobin hadn’t expected that.
Beomgyu is sick, and Soobin would do anything to help him - work three jobs to pay for his medication, nurse him through his pain flare-ups, care for him during his terrible heats. But adding another mate to their relationship might be a step too far.

“You think you’re better than us because you’re poor, is that it?”
Soobin froze; oh yeah, that hit a nerve. Yeonjun was the precious only son of a second wife, the traded-up model wife, in fact; he had grown up around the viciously offensive and had immunity.
“Where did you come from? Are you some rich asshole’s secret bastard or something?” asked Yeonjun. From the way Soobin’s brows drew together in the center, he thought he might’ve just found bullseye.
“Speaking of rich assholes, aren’t you the type to be out cruising for a daddy?” Soobin’s voice was a thin edge, dripping. “Think maybe I’m a little too young for you.”
“Yeah, I’ve got clinically diagnosed daddy issues, but mostly I just like dick,” admitted Yeonjun easily.
