Could be canon compliant I guess but not really. Takes place as if Ian visits Mickey at the abandoned buildings but Mickey does not beat him up. Ian is staying at Mandy's with Lip and witnesses Mickey getting hurt. Soft fluff ensues. I tried to keep them all in character :).

During school, words were said, and as a result, punches flew. It was then when Thanos decided that the look of fear in people’s eyes was what had given him power. He never let go of that. But beneath that tough exterior was something soft and easily broken.
Slowly, Thanos walked over to the mirror he kept on the back of his closet. The man he saw in the reflection was the person he tried so hard to bury. Without the drugs or the alcohol or the never ending crowds of people cheering him on—he was nothing. Someone who had no control over his emotions, someone who was broken.

Junho glanced up from the arrest form he was filling out on his computer and studied him. Seong Gihun, age forty-three, resident of Ssangmun-dong. The system showed his only living relative to be his elderly mother. There were numerous citations on file for money issues mostly, but no prostitution. Oh, and today was his birthday.
“Officer,” the man said, wringing his hands like an old woman and rocking in his seat, “I swear.”
Junho took his fingers off the keyboard and crossed them over his desk. “Ajusshi, I have you on video without your pants in a popular love hotel.”

The memory hits him and a smile tugs Gi-hun’s mouth upwards as he chuckles, “Spinning Top was intense.”
Young-il closes his eyes, grinning widely while he drops his head in his hands. “Please don’t start.”
It’s an endearing gesture of vulnerability from someone so level-headed. They’re both smiling and whatever prior gloom floated in the air before has dissipated. Replaced with calm joy.
“What matters is you made it in the end.” Playfully, Gi-hun lets out a breathy laugh, announcing, “I was starting to sweat, though.”
Embarrassed as he is, Young-il is a good sport about it, joking, “It was on purpose. To build anticipation for our victory.”
“I’m sure,” Gi-hun teases.

Nam-gyu's heart is beating harshly in his chest and he lifts shaky hands out of his pockets to feel his pulse. His stomach doesn't hurt, his knuckles aren't bruised or covered in anyone else's blood, and most notably, Thanos is alive.
