Summary
Once Robert establishes enough rapport with his Z-team to integrate "positive reinforcement tactics" without getting ruthlessly mocked, he makes the extra step to come up with a reward system they'll actually be interested in. A little gambling-adjacent with guaranteed wins of information. That this takes the form of a stupid spinning wheel they can only spin by performing prosocial actions, with strict spinning limits, is hilariously unimportant.
Never in Robert's wildest dreams would he have imagined this would evolve into the modem through which the team all fuck their way up into becoming actual friends, but honestly, he should've seen it coming. Everything about this job and this team had blown his expectations to the fucking stratosphere.
Now if only they could keep Robert out of it, he wouldn't be so spooked.

I actually wrote this like a month back when i was trynna brainstorm over the new Noli lore in Forsaken, mostly cuz i really liked the idea of Noli and 007n7 having some past together
(although the whole "7 forced Noli to take the star" didn't sit right with me, ik 7 wasn't a great person but still..)
And tbh, i have grown to really enjoy Voidburger/77noliSoo, as i was brainstorming how it could've gone with them with the new lore, i had come with one scene somewhere mid-process that was just so funny i ended up actually writing it!
Expect subtle 77noli ship mentions and alcohol mentions, but dw about NSFW, I'm an ACE person so i wouldn't even DREAM of writing such scenes, cuddling and kissing at best, and sadly that does not appear in this scenario either.
Again, this is a SINGULAR SCENE, meaning it kinda appears as ripped out of an open story (cuz it basically is lol)Anyway, go my fellow Voidburger lovers and have some laugh over a god struggling :)
[Also yes, ik i wrote 7's name as OO7n7 instead of 007n7, i was unsure back then which way is correct and since i hear everyone pronouncing it as "OO7n7", i simply wrote it that way, my apologies.]

Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.
