Of course, Gerard himself didn’t do anything to help matters, because Mikey’s older sibling had decided from an early age to be as much of a nuisance to normal society as possible. Which was a confusing but ultimately just fine thing to Mikey, who preferred to stay as quiet and un-noticeable as possible. Being nothing and nobody is easy for him: he blocks the rest of the world through thick, perpetually smudged glasses and folds his gangly limbs in tight on miserable school bus rides.

When Laura misreads a situation and thinks Derek's bringing his not so secret crush, Stiles to her wedding, Derek has no choice but to go along with it. Unless he wants his family worrying about him. Definitely not something he wants, he couldn't stand that. If only it was simple. And if only everyone didn't love him so much, making it all that much harder. Including for himself.

Summary
Derek wasn't too happy about Laura's decision to move their pack back to Beacon Hill, especially when he learned that he would be helping her run a coffee shop. But a certain talkative magic user makes his life a little more bearable. Too bad he's the Emissary of another pack and therefore off limits. Meanwhile, Lydia is dealing with a potental threat to her Pack. Someone had been breaking onto her properties and vandalizing them. The culprits leave no trace, not even a scent, and all of Stiles' magical protections remain intact and still working. Could this spell trouble for her position as Alpha, and can she trust the mysterious and alluring Peter Hale to help her.

But Dean would never ask, because it had been just him for so long he'd probably forgotten how to.
So when Adam came home with A+ papers, and Dean with circles like bruises under his eyes, Sam smiled at one and soothed the other and prayed every night for somebody to come along and save his brother from himself.
