"Anything for my homoerotic friend," Pansy said with what could only be described as a cheeky smile, batting her eyelashes.
"Extremely dangerous black magic ritual, huh?" Regulus said with a glance at Draco, who waved him off.
"I was rather interested in meeting my favourite cousin, what can I say?"
OR
Draco is faced with the Dark Lord in his home and the looming threat of being marked when he hears about Regulus Black, the youngest Death Eater to be marked from the first wizarding war.
But his cousin’s disappearance just doesn’t sit right with Draco. A smart Slytherin, dying right out of Hogwarts?
So, when Draco finds a resurrection ritual in one of his cousin’s old books, he does what anyone else wouldn’t.
He brings Regulus back.

“And as given the will and letters left by Narcissa Malfoy nee Black, you are hereby considered as having aided the demise of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named through your research of Horcruxes, and the memories left by her claiming you were willing to commit suicide to the cause which she died for.
“We are therefore glad to announce, Lord Black, that you are pardoned from any retribution from the Ministry of Magic, and your claim to adopt Draco Lucius Malfoy, aged 5 months old, has been approved."

What if when Regulus found out about the Horcruxes, Narcissa and Lucius paid for it? What if Regulus raised baby Draco in France?
