Summary
Tomoe's words raced through Akura-oh's mind, over and over, in a desperate attempt to make any sense of them. Had he lost his mind? Did he even realize the absurdity of his own words?! Leaving him to marry a girl was one thing—but a human girl? That was a whole other thing. Akura-oh was not even going to entertain the ridiculousness of the "becoming human" delusion.
Akura-oh shows Tomoe the consequences of denying him.

Summary
When Tomoe entered the room, Nanami was in the middle of putting on her mascara, hand frozen mid-air and mouth hanging open. She never remembered opening it—Maybe a subconscious thing?—but it somehow seemed to make the process a bit smoother.
Tomoe stared at her for moment, as if inspecting her. “What are you doing?“
“Hm?“
“The thing that you’re putting on, what is it?“
---
Or, Tomoe learns about make-up.

Summary
Polish the rice, then rinse it. Add into the rice cooker with your special vinegar blend. Julienne the vegetables and prepare the fish. Listen to the symphony of the food. Tomoe lived by that, loved it, and Mikage rarely asked him to do more than commune with the sushi. But one night, as Tomoe sat down at the front-of-house, he was haunted by a woman’s eyes as she looked in. Mikage invites her in for an impromptu chef’s table, and Tomoe finds that his life and food will never be the same, now that he has met “Nanami.”
Happy birthday to ruddcatha!
