Trying to avoid feeling any guilt, you do what you can to nurse her back to health, realizing you've committed to more than you initially thought when you start to spill blood in a desperate attempt to keep Ellie from dying.
4 part fanfic where you stumble around in Ellie's wake trying to make her make sense. Cold and off putting, she's a traumatized woman of little words with a head overflowing with thoughts she is unable to express, not recognizing you are not much different than she is.
