Phil doesn’t agree, he realises as he situates himself in front of him, and lifts the wet towel to his face. Daniel somehow doesn’t look a mess. He looks stunning still, sharp jawline tainted with blood, high cheekbones spotted with light freckles and dirt, long and dark eyelashes coating his cheeks every time he blinks. Phil does his best at washing away the dirt and the blood, careful not to bruise against the wounds, but his mind is somewhere else, and he finds it hard to focus.

For one of the 2026 Phantasy Calender photoshoot looks, Phil covers himself head to toe in glitter body paint. Without any oil-based cleanser to get it off with, the next best thing to use is olive oil. Phil gets in the bath and tries to deal with the glitter situation. Dan joins in and helps.

Dan is a man of science. When they’d done that stupid ghost hunting video (at Phil’s whim, mind you, so really this is his fault) Dan hadn’t seen anything wrong with openly expressing just how bullshit all of it was. They’d ended up cutting out a good 15 minutes of footage that contained nothing besides Dan complaining.
It’s cold. This is stupid. Ghosts aren’t real, Phil is an idiot, Dan wants to go home.
Looking back on it, if Dan knew what he knows now, months later, he would’ve kept his mouth shut for once in his life. Not because he believes in any of that shit, absolutely not.
However..
It does become much harder to maintain that skepticism when he wakes up on the couch, at 2am, with fur covering his body and a tail tucked up between his legs.
Or
Dan gets turned into a werewolf because karma is a bitch and he should've known better. They fuck about it, and it's filthy.
