Today marks a week of Thomas being alive after the incident. We finally convinced the hospital to let him outside for the day. All he did was work on his garden. He really put all his effort into keeping it alive… I always took care of it while he was gone, watering the flowers and trimming the bushes. Even Junior planted something; a flower. He named it Wattles Jr. Apparently the sky was supposed to be clear tonight, so Thomas wanted to watch it with me. I accepted obviously, and now we're in my car, driving to somewhere I’ve never shown anyone else. It was a cool, summer night, and nothing was in our way.
