“You’re going to be alright, buddy. I have faith in you. In the two of you. And you just gotta keep him occupied, and not killing people, while we figure out where his memories are being stored and get them back.”
“Yeah. And wear down that damn soul damp. Okay. He heals me, we’re on our way. Then we better come up with a string of good deeds for him to do. Maybe ones that don’t require me to get bit by kiddie-pool demons?”
“You got it.”

16-year-old Peter Parker has been living on the streets since he ran away from his foster home after beating up his abusive foster dad. He’s also Spider-Man, and after losing everyone he's ever cared about, is doing what he needs to survive as a traumatized teenage superhero in NYC. This was a secret shared between them. Bright One had in turn trusted it with a longing and pain it had shared with no other. It relaxed the human, the patterns and noise soothing, and it would watch as Bright One slowly surrendered to comfort, a state he didn’t often find himself in.
It was touched that he could find solace with it.

So absorbed in the feelings of Bright One beside it, it had failed to notice the arrival of Master. It flared as wide as it could, trying to shield Bright One’s secret, but the damage was done.

Written for the prompt: What if Loki and Stephen do something to make Tony mad and they don't know what they did wrong but Tony is ignoring them at all cost and somehow the cloak seems to be in on this and stays with Tony, refusing to go back to Stephen.

Summary
The thing about touch telepathy is this: technically, or at least as far as both Google and SHIELD databases are concerned, touch telepathy doesn’t exist anymore. Key word, anymore. It can’t, not when there hasn’t been a single record of a touch telepath existing in the last two-hundred-and-nineteen years.
Not that Tony has been paying attention, or anything.
Before there was a word for it, people called them “witches” or “psychics” or just plain, “monsters.” By the time the terminology was created to name them as they are, their existence had become taboo. Undesirable, criminal, dangerous.
Historians call them as they are: touch telepaths. People call them legends. Tony just curses his own existence and calls it a day.
