“Where’s your alpha?” Nie Mingjue took a step closer.
“I don’t think this is of any concern to you,” Meng Yao replied as calmly and clearly as he could manage.
Nie Mingjue took another step and then he was suddenly close enough for Meng Yao to fully smell him. Meng Yao almost choked on his thick, musky scent.
“Where’s your alpha?” Nie Mingjue repeated. “I don’t smell one on you.”
