“I didn't turn you,” Minho whispers. It's important to him, suddenly, that Jeongin knows that. “I don't know who did. Felix found you in the street and brought you to me. He begged me to save your life. Someone had given you a drop of vampire blood and– left you.”
“Why?” The single word is filled with so much pain Minho can barely stand to hear it.
“I don't know,” he says. He holds Jeongin tighter. “I don't know. I'm sorry.”
Minho has never wanted to create another vampire. But he couldn't just let Jeongin die. So now he's stuck taking care of a newborn vampire he never wanted– and falling in love for the first time in hundreds of years.

“Can I have fun, then?” Jeongin asks, and his tongue licks a dainty stripe up Seungmin’s neck. “Do what I want?”
What he wants…? This, Seungmin, is something Jeongin could want? It seems far-fetched. Seungmin is the pathetic one, crawling into his bed on a nightly basis for a whiff of his mild scent, a necessity to get to sleep, and Jeongin is the one politely and patiently tolerating him out of obligation or out of their alternate give and take dynamic or whatever it is they have going on.
Seungmin stops being able to sleep, and Jeongin's bed holds the solution.

“Uhm… Hi?”
An airy voice brings him out of his self-imposed timeout in the depths of his own mind and Seungmin looks up to see the most beautiful man on planet Earth awkwardly standing and looking at him.
It takes him another thirty seconds before his brain catches up and he’s stuttering nonsense in an attempt to justify the lack of attention paid to this very handsome customer.
“Yes. Hi. Hello. All good?” he says, cringing at himself for his weak attempt at looking like a normal functional human being, “What can I get for you?”
Or: Seungmin works as a barista in a little coffee shop and Chan becomes the bane of his existence through his strange food orders.

Summary
Maybe Chan was in a coma and forgot he had a boyfriend who was clearly in love with him. But no! Chan will not let his delusions get him off track. He does not know this guy or why he’s in his house. Changbin would have at least given him a heads-up, even if he didn’t know Chan would be back early.
The man moves forward, right into Chan’s personal space, and further until he nuzzles Chan’s neck.
“Who are you? How do you know my name? And why are you in my apartment?” the man tenses at Chan’s questions.
“Fuck,” The man breathes and pulls away. He’s biting his bottom lip, and Chan obviously doesn’t want to bite it either. “I have to tell you something, and I hope you’ll take it well.” Chan has no thought for what this gorgeous creature with a pretty dick and a cute ass has to tell him.
Not that he looked, he merely glanced, but he saw enough. He did look away quickly because he’s a gentleman, but also a man, and sometimes when a naked person is in front of him, his eyes move on their own accord. He isn't a saint. “But can I borrow some clothes first?”

There's just one problem: said omega is in France for the next month and a half on a summer internship.

There's a brief moment where it's clear his words have to sink in, but then his friend nods, accepting.

And that's that, isn't it? That's how it's always been. The brief flash of disappointment, then the genial acceptance. Seungmin doesn't pick bad friends, after all, they'd never get angry at him for not liking them back

“Come to think of it, you’re so lame.” Seungmin tells Chan as they enter Chan’s bedroom after Seungmin kept whining that it’s too cold out, despite being in sweatpants and a T-shirt, while Chan had far more skin uncovered yet remained unaffected. “Just sitting on the roof all alone at the party. Pathetic.”
Chan laughs as he steps out of his sneakers. Seungmin does the same. “You did the exact same thing?”
“That’s different.”
“How?”
“We know I’m lame already. I’m just now discovering you’re a loser as well, this is fun.”
