“What exactly are we going to see? Should I be worried?” Wei Wuxian questioned Jin Ling while being speed walked through Lotus Pier towards the inner garden.
“Trust me you won’t believe it if I just tell you.” Was all the answer he got. They soon arrived at one of the garden entrances.
“There!” Jin Ling pointed towards a bench. “Please tell me you see it too.”
He turned toward where Jin Ling pointed and saw… Jiang Cheng?
There on the bench was Jiang Wanyin, Sandu Shengshou, sect leader of the Yunmeng Jiang clan, Master of Zidian and .... his hair was braided ...and were those flowers?~.~
Jin Ling sees his uncle with flowers braided into his hair and get's his other uncle to confirm he isn't seeing things.
Turns out Jingyi is involved. -

"Don't talk about Sizhui like that," Jin Ling roared, reaching back with the hand holding Zidian, aiming it at all three of them. Everything happened so quickly that Jingyi acted without thinking. He took quick, long steps into Zidian's path, reaching up with his dominant (left) hand and caught Zidian before it could reach the individuals behind him, who were finally showing some sense, taking several steps back. He tightened his grip and yanked Zidian out of Jin Ling’s grasp, leaving him looking stunned. Zidian immediately recoiled into a ring on Jingyi’s left ring finger, which he always left free for that purpose. He looked up at Jin Ling and Sizhui, both of whom appeared surprised. Jingyi didn’t care anymore; he was getting angry now.
He turned around and almost growled “Leave before I change my mind and whip you myself.” Before he turned his back on the already retreating men.----------
A drunk Jin Ling tries to defend his crush (Lan SIzhui) in the worst was so Jingyi has to step in to prevent him from causing a scandal. He might have accidentally revealed his relationship by doing so. -
