It had been, however, only three hours since the demon rose to find the majority of his plants lackluster, and only two since he stumbled across a shilling on the streets of Mayfair, only to realize it had been glued in place. (It may be noted here that Crowley went on a driving spree only four days prior, gluing a vast array of currencies to the streets and footpaths of London).
