Set post–eighth year, this fic--book 1 of a duology--keeps most canon plot intact but spares a few characters who didn’t make it out of The War. Inspired by a fever dream and The Strokes, every chapter title is a song from their discography, and any lyrics featured belong to them, aside from an occasional edit to align with the wizarding world.
