Never getting any communication from Manon, Rody decides with much difficulty that maybe it really is time to focus on himself. Well, maybe himself and his relationship with someone else. It's normal to have a good relationship with your boss after all, right? It's not weird and he just likes him as a good buddy and supportive boss. There is absolutely nothing else going on to suggest otherwise. Rody is sure of that. At least he thinks he's sure of that.
Vincent is scared of himself. I mean, he's killed someone! In fact, he's eaten that same someone and it didn't help his issue at all. What was the point of all this if he didn't even accomplish his goal? What will he have to do to atone for this? What sort of consequences will come if someone finds out? What if Rody finds out? Rody cannot find out. He just can't. If he does, it's all over. Rody is his last chance to achieve his goal, so he can't afford to fuck this up. Under NO circumstances can Rody find out.
