    Angel goes to the nearest bar and drinks himself into oblivion. The last thing he remembers is a pair of surprisingly soft hands grabbing at his wrists and then he is in the black. When he wakes up, it’s in someone’s bed. There are those soft hands again, petting his head and brushing his bangs out of his face. It’s a familiar feeling, and in the haze of dreams and memories, he can almost believe it’s her.

    “Mols?”

    “What did ya say, Angie?”

    Cherri leans into Angel's field of vision and blurs immediately out of it as his eyes fill with tears. Whether they’re from gratefulness for her finding him and getting him somewhere safe, or grief over his brain tricking him for that one short moment into thinking he’d finally found her again isn’t entirely clear.

     

    Or Angel hates his birthday without Molly by his side. The Hazbin crew helps him learn to love it again.
