    Because at 4, his parents had died and stripped him of his ability to express correctly.

    Because at 13, his Uncle had died and it was his fault.

    Because at 14, his aunt was finally happy, and he would not take that away from her.

    And when he had gotten bitten by a radioactive spider, he had solidified his fate by not telling his aunt about his beatings when he was still weak.

     

    There really was no excuse on why he couldn’t handle it anymore.

    And when he had gotten news that Mitchell would be moving in, he wouldn’t complain.

     

    No, not by a long shot.

    Peter Parker lived part time at Avengers Tower. Then Rhodey died. The Avengers blame Peter. Peter eventually just quietly leaves the team and his part time home and none of them notice.

    May dies, leaving Peter an Orphan. Peter runs away from Foster Care leaving Peter a Homeless Orphan.

    Eventually Peter completely disappeared and isn't even sighted as Spider-Man anymore.

    Then Rhodey comes back from the not-so-dead-after-all and asks where Peter is. When no one can tell him and Rhodey finds out what all went down and The Team all treated Peter afterwards and that Peter dealt with the loss of his last living relative all alone and then ran away from an abusive Foster Care Situation and is out there scared all alone and maybe even dead, Rhodey is not happy with any of them and wants Peter found and brought back home because if no one else will care for the orphaned child then he will.

Why did you actually call, Leo? Did the Bolt-For-Brain Prophecy come to fruition after all? You need us to bring some screwdrivers?”

    Leo glared in the general direction of his phone, “Really?" He said, flying by the seat of his pants. "Fruition. That's the word choice you want to rock with, here?"

    In which Leo is very sick (read: literally dying on his bathroom floor), is the mother of all pathetic little meow meows, and Frank + Hazel take it upon themselves to help him out with this. Now, if only he could stop being mildly suicidal on main figure out how to ask for help, that'd be great. No, really. People aren't supposed to know he has feelings supposed to take care of other people, right?

    All the while, the waterworks keep pouring.
