John gulped a long, heavy breath behind him that sounded like he had been trapped underwater for too long, struggling to reach the surface, and had finally broken through.
And then, he wasn’t two steps away anymore.
In a dizzying whirl of movement, Alex was spun around and crushed back against the door.
John pressed in on him, all rough but no longer dirty hands and whisper-soft lips claiming his mouth in a bruising kiss. Alex’s own hands clawed into John’s muddied coat, his fingers tangled in the heavy fabric at his back, his waist, pulling him closer, drawing him in until even their little pocket of space fell away and it was just them, biting desperate kisses to the other’s lips.
