Blab blab blab!” But if you were to ask Deadpool that question…
“Spider-Man!? Oh, he’s my special boy, the greatest piece of ass out there! He’s like if a spider had sex with a pole to make a really sexy pole-dancing spider!”

Deadpool accidentally totally ruins his chances of being friends with Spider-Man by saying something stupid that ended up in the newspaper. Now, he needs to get Spider-Man's friend and maybe lover, Peter Parker to put in a good word for him.

Summary
It's been six years since the last confirmed sighting of Spider-Man. At this point, everyone figures he's dead. But when a series of copycat Spideys show up in and around New York, the vigilante community has to reconsider the evidence, and figure out what the hell happened to one of their own.
As if that weren't enough, Deadpool arrives in New York as the newest (probationary) member of the Avengers, hate crimes against mutants are on the rise, and Aunt May's cooking has gotten even worse. Peter's life is falling apart before his eyes, and there's nothing he can do about it.
Nothing at all, that is, unless he can somehow allow himself to put aside his hard-earned apathy, and work with others once more.

Peter sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Why is it always something with you, Pool?”
The white one glanced down towards Wade before looking back at Peter. He turned towards the spider and vaulted over the couch, just barely evading Wade’s hand lunging for his ankle.
“Baby boy, run!” Wade cried out, groaning as he began to push himself up off of the floor. “Run, climb, web him to something solid, anything! I’d help, but Daddy is currently passing one hell of a kidney stone right now…”
Peter raised an eyebrow, quickly pointing his wrist towards the white one. “Ap, ap, ap. I have a pretty big space bubble when it comes to…” Peter trailed off, head tilting to the side. “To whatever you are.” He squinted.
