Summary
Sieun thought he had finally left his past behind when he left for the states. His old wounds have healed over, and the ache is barely noticeable. It no longer itches, no longer bleeds… or at least that's what he's convinced himself to believe.
It’s been a few years, so surely he could come back to Seoul, right? There’s no reason to run away anymore.
But a chance encounter with the boy he's buried in the past shakes whatever new foundation Sieun has built over the past few years. All the guilt and past mistakes resurface like they’d never left. Although he guesses he really can’t cheat life that easily. It’s an awful reminder that ghosts never leave a haunted house after all.
Or Sieun does study abroad for college. Comes back after five years to find Suho not only up and about after getting his head bashed in, but is now making waves as a celebrated rookie in Korea's MMA scene. Sieun’s not sure if he wants to beat him up, chain him to his bed (to keep him safe), or cry. He needs to run away. Again.
Suho on the other hand is in his villain era and he's not gonna be so forgiving this time around.

holy crap this one's intense, the way it handles the public eye and interests feels so tangible in a way that makes my skin feel gross and makes me feel like im trapped in a whirlwind. The people feel flawed and human: righteous, prideful, dismissive, obsessive, but also earnest in that they want to do good. it feels like the superman movie, perhaps because of this too.
