Lois Lane broke the story. 6 weeks later, meek and mild-mannered Clark Kent joined the Daily Planet, only to learn that Lois had bigger fish to fry than Superman, and it fell to him to write about his alter ego's extracurricular activities.
Lois Lane did not have time for Superman. Nor did she need to be dealing with a newbie on her trail at work. She was smack dab in the middle of exposing the city's next big corruption case. But Clark Kent had his uses, and he was certainly an enigma of his own.
AKA one possible prequel to the events of Superman (2025)
