Jackie plus Shauna.
She knows it's corny. But she can’t help herself anymore. Not with this gnawing feeling inside her chest. Not when the phantom sensation of Shauna's touch on her wrist is burned into her memory.
“What are you doing?”
Jackie jumps in surprise. The paper slips from her lap and gently floats to the ground, landing face up in front of Shauna.
Jackie sighs in relief. “Oh. It’s you.”

Jackie never meant to confess – especially not like that. But Shauna sees more than she was supposed to, misunderstands it completely, and lashes out. Now Jackie’s hurt, trying desperately to fix what she broke, while Shauna stays angry for all the wrong reasons.
