Summary
Being Head Girl should be easy this year. There's no more war. She isn't expected to save any of her friends' lives. For once, Hermione Granger can focus on school, her N.E.W.Ts, and fostering friendships with people who survived the second war.
What she wasn't expecting was playing hostess and supervisor to so many unifying school activities. Professor McGonagall has Theo and her planning dances, a Picnic Basket Auction, and the dreaded Parent's Day weekend. Ultimately, those activities are all in good fun, however, when she also has to deal with an ex-Death Eater's jealousy, and at times possessive attitude, it makes Hermione's job as Head Girl somewhat complicated.
"We really shouldn't be out here. It's past curfew and it's been dark for nearly two hours now," she whispers through a shiver.
She knows Malfoy wants to comment on her bathing suit choice, or rather lack of clothing, but instead, he reaches behind himself and grabs his jumper. After pulling it on over her head, he tugs it down the rest of her body. It's large on her small frame and comes down to her mid thigh.
"There. You looked cold," he nods once in approval. "Has anyone ever told you that you look good in Slytherin clothes?"

“Granger’s actually quite small, isn’t she.” Blaise said absentmindedly, chin rested on his palm.
“Hm.” Draco blinked and turned his head over to him.
“Granger.” He said again and sucked his teeth. Distracted.
Draco frowned. “Small, what you mean small?” He then followed and caught Blaise’s eye-line. His own eyes landed on Granger who was just sitting down at her table, facing the pair.
Blaise shrugged. “Just an observation.”

Just a passing comment about Granger’s height leads Draco Malfoy spiralling down a deep dark hole. And several visits to the Hogwarts Library after hours.
