Henry saunters toward the camera, swaying heavily, clearly very, very drunk. His shirt is half-buttoned and very translucent, and his hair is a mess, blond strands sticking up at all angles, like he’d been running his hand through it all night. He’s grinning like a madman, completely uninhibited.
“He’s so gorgeous,” Henry whines. “His arms are so thick and his abs, and he’s always touching me. I don’t know what to do with myself.”
Or, drunk Henry accidentally confesses his feelings for Alex via Instagram.

Summary
It’s not on purpose. He hasn’t been avoiding Henry. It’s just that all of their interactions have been either before school or after school, and both he and Henry have been too busy supervising students and new clubs during lunch to visit each other then.
He tells Henry all of this one day at home, wrapped up in his embrace before bed, David resting in the corner of the room. “Well, darling,” Henry says, “do you want to give them something to talk about?”
Or, Alex and Henry teach at a high school. Chaos ensues.

"God, Alex, I don't know how you get through life being so-"
"...So?"
But Henry isn't responding, his train of thought cut off entirely at the sight of the cursive scrawl on Alex's now exposed chest, shirt entirely unbuttoned. The font is in perfect cursive, looping around the letters as his eyes hone in on two words in startling clarity, black ink against tanned skin.
Bloody child.
"Prick." Henry says, nothing more than a breath, and watches as the font curls and changes to reflect the word.
"Ex-fucking-scuse me?"
Panicked at the thought of Alex being stood directly in front of a mirror, he whispers underneath his breath the first word that comes to mind, “Gorgeous.”
“Are you having a stroke?”
In a world where the last thing your soulmate says about you appears on your skin, Henry has always wanted to see the black script curl across his chest. Unfortunately for him, his soulmate turns out to be the infuriating wedding planner determined to work alongside him, who has absolutely zero interest in finding his own soulmate.
Life is what you cake it, he supposes.
