Day #4: Itachi isn't the type to receive expensive or special gifts.
He doesn't seem to look favorably on original or non-material gifts either.
Day #6: Now, always closed in the bedroom, usually sitting on the pillow, he mentally reformulates some of the notions he has learned, his dark eyes placidly following the twirl of a large snowflake

Despite the discretion offered by the place, the office is always the office, so embarrassment will always be around the corner, precautions or not. « Underwear. » Itachi hisses almost without moving his lips, keeping his expression stoic, handing her the bag.
The other's astonished look is instantly joined by a crystalline and belly laugh, almost snorting at the absurdity of the thing. « Okay, we're all women here, but we're not going to eat you. Why act so prudish in such a funny way? If only you knew the intimate confessions that circulate in the rooms of this building... »
« I don't think it's an appropriate situation. » the dark-haired young man replies, stiffly.Series

Now, after two years, Konan returns to Itachi with a request. Is she still in love with him... Or is there something else behind it?

Then she exhales a reply, firm and soft. Authoritarian and unwilling to accept rejection.
« Give me just one night. »
« We've had nights like that. For a year and a half. »
« And do you think it's too late to make up it? » she questions him softly, a note of tenderness imbued in her voice.
His frown underlines the childishness of the question just raised.
To tell the truth, he is tempted to tell her a lie, a white lie that could reassure her about the feelings he still has towards her after all that time.Series

“You’re wasting your time.” he whispers in a lowly voice without even realizing it. That was intended to be a thought confined to his head, not a cruel jab directed towards her.
