Anton was a leader. Alpha. A point of stability in the life of his pack, and he had put everything he had into building the self-control required for this life. But now, everything was different. Now he was no longer in control. Now he was coming apart at the seams, sharp teeth slicing through the threads of his resolve and taking him out stitch by stitch.
The beast inside him was agitated, pacing, chewing through the bars of its cage. He couldn’t lead like this. He needed someone else to hold the leash.
