Stede sits forward, one hand on Ed’s thigh for balance, the other bringing the joint to his own lips. Ed’s treated to the show of him pulling in, the very last of the joint, the concentrated end stronger than the rest; Ed can smell it, intoxicatingly thick, in the air around them.
Stede keeps going, going, going, inhaling until smoke trails from his nose again, and then he’s withdrawing the joint and leaning forward, beckoning Ed to do the same, drawing them together.
His hand comes up, cradling Ed’s jaw in tight fingers, moving him exactly where he wants him. Ed parts his lips, heart pounding, on the edge of his rocking chair, nearly falling out of it and into Stede’s lap when they scoot in closer, closer.
When Stede’s lips meet his, soft and gentle, they part, too, and he starts the slow, smooth process of transferring the smoke from his mouth into Ed’s.

The drag of his hips shifts from slow and teasing to more hurried and slightly trembling rolls as he runs after the high within him. Ed’s own soft pants and high keens fill the room and echo around him which only spurs him on even more as he now properly rides the pillow chasing his own orgasm as it builds and builds and fucking builds.
