Denki coughs and fully sits up, looking around. It’s not much better but less bright. He takes in his surroundings becoming even more confused. “Yeah… Why am I in a hospital?”
“Oh. You had a villain encounter and you hit your head pretty badly. Don’t worry, we fixed most of the damage. Though you may experience some intense headaches. That is normal. You also have some intense bruising but no broken bones.” She moves to the end of his bed and grabs his chart, flipping some of the pages. “Now, I do have some questions I need you to answer. What is your name, hun?”
“Uh, Kaminari Denki,” he rasps.
“Good. What year is it?”
“It’s, uh, 2030.”
“Hmm,” she scratches something on the page. “Okay, and how old are you, Kaminari?”
Denki’s head is pounding, but he forces the pain down. He is good at ignoring pain. “I’m sixteen.”

Summary
The sun has set after what feels like hours. Darkness consuming the land. Trees no longer beautiful, instead imposing. The woods grows louder. The songs of birds being replaced by owls and other screeching animals. They dart across the sky, momentarily blocking out what little light the moon gives. Kaminari keeps his eyes on the ground, but still stumbles with every step. His ears ring. His eyes unfocused. His body all but dead around him. His mind within thoughtless and defeated.
The trees slowly begin speaking around him.

Summary
