Summary
Mobei-Jun wasn’t a demon of many words. For one, his intimidating presence and his icy blue eyes were enough for most demons to never make an enemy of him, much less be close to him. But that’s exactly what Shang Qinghua did the moment he came even a walking distance close: becoming his subordinate at the drop of a hat.

“M-My king…” He managed to reach out and grasp at a sleeve. "T-The poison, it is more of a curse," he explained, coughing and wheezing a few breaths. Mobei-jun immediately rubbed his chest and back, soothing some of the aching. "I have to... reveal some secrets. Will... Will you listen?"
"This king will listen. All of Qinghua's secrets will be safe."
