Summary
When Simon gatecrashes the Hail Mary on its return trip to Earth, Grace has several important things to figure out:
1) Is this blood soaked apparition a human, an alien, or maybe some ancient space trickster god?
2) Can he still hate Eva Stratt when he has to make the same decision for someone else?
3) If it turns out his new guest is just a man with pretty brown (and red) eyes, can he be convinced to bite Grace with his big scary teeth?!!! This is a blood heavy vamp fic with lots of gross Eden cult lore and even more yearning.

The hunger is seductive or maybe the violence is seductive, it's something that is un-nerving for Simon. He has never liked violence, he is no stranger to daydreaming about the texture of another person's fat between his teeth but that sacrament was almost entirely removed from violence. Meat served up guiltless and holy. Now his daydreams take on this hazy, thrashing stickiness that is as addictive as it is frightening. When he sees Grace's collar bone when his deeply stupid shirts bunch to the side he doesn't imagine him dead and cooked, he imagines him very much alive and writhing as Simon discovers the texture of his bones against teeth.Bookmarked by harleygrace38

Ryland looked down at his clipboard, where he had written a reasonable script, supplied earlier that day by Adrian. Unfortunately, the moment his eyes landed on the words, his brain supplied only terrible ways to say them.
He chose the worst one.
“I need flowers with prominent reproductive structures.”
The man went completely still.
Ryland could feel his soul attempting to leave his body.
“For a plant anatomy lab,” he added quickly. “For my students. Middle school students. Not–” He cut himself off, because there was simply no end to that sentence that would improve his situation. Instead, he just weakly smiled, and added “Science.”
