Summary
“I don’t dream,” Killua says the first time he falls into Gon's dreams.
Gon peers at him through the spell in his hands, solid and warm with the weight of an ocean that only exists in his memories. Doing magic, making potions, crafting runes—you need to dream to do that, to find the memories that bind everything together in a tapestry. Even worldbinding, for all that it draws its powers from physical reality, still needs dreams to make it breathe, to give it life. Maybe it’s a balance, like how worldbinders use their runes to connect the physical world to new magic. To dream, in a way, is to live magic.
But here Killua is, in Gon’s dreams, doing magic seemingly without dreams of his own. If Killua has dreams—if he lies, or if he forgets, then he has a reason. But if Gon asks now, he's not going to tell the truth. Whatever it is, he'll tell Gon eventually.
So Gon asks, “Don’t you get bored if you don’t dream?”
Killua grins, blue eyes sharp with surprise and delight. “I’m not bored now.”

He is a mysterious case for the siblings, an android with an unknown make, until its revealed his creator is none other than rogue scientist, Ging Freecss. Gon has been told his one purpose for his existence, but deep within his code lies an enticing secret, one which the siblings simply can't ignore.

Summary
Everything is monochromatic in Gon’s world until he meets Killua, who doesn’t seem to realize how starved he is of a life with color. This only makes Gon more determined to show him how much there is to see besides gray— if only Killua would stop refusing to touch him.
Killua doesn’t mind a world of shadows; it’s terribly convenient. He’s not about to let one happy-go-lucky heathen of a soulmate change that, fate be damned. And no, he doesn’t particularly care that said soulmate is a bit on the attractive side, or that he keeps nudging closer and offers Killua chocolate.
Nope. Not at all.

Killua’s head snapped up when he felt that tingling under his skin, a pressure in his skull, and the dull roaring somewhere off in the distance. He was bolting away from the market stand a second later, ignoring the cries of Alluka and the jewelry handler alike. All he could hear was the pounding of his sandals on hot brick and the heavy thudding of his heart against his ribcage.
Gon’s World wasn’t supposed to collide with Killua's for another week. And yet, there was no denying that familiar tug of his heart.
Gon was here. And Killua wasn’t going to miss a second of the short, precious time with the man he loved.

But his spotless record has been affected by the appearance of a rival. A cockroach, one that knows more than they should, who threatens to force him back to his family and away from Gon. And Killua will do almost anything to keep his double life in its carefully maintained balance.

“What do you want from me?” Killua whispers as Gon continues to simply stare at him. “I’ve already given you my Heart. You can do whatever you want with it- you can kill me, force me to do your bidding, use my energy as your own…I gave you everything, Gon. What more could I possibly give you that you don’t already have?”
Something unreadable flashes across Gon’s face. He takes two large steps, marching right up to Killua, and cups Killua’s jaw in his warm, warm hands.
Killua’s breath catches in his throat. He feels his eyes grow large as Gon leans close, and then all he can see is Gon's wonderful, perfect face.
Gon says, voice deep and rough, "I want this."
