Killua stared across the room, a fond look settled over his face as he admired from afar. His focus is set on one boy.

The boy was an enigma to enigmas. Always cheery, had no enemies, super friendly.
Even to Killua, who most people shunned, but not Gon, nor was he deterred when he'd been warned about the pale boy; in fact, he stuck up for him, defended his honor like some knight in shining armor.
Killua focused his gaze on him, like he did most of the time in class. Suddenly, dread and anguish washed over Killua like a sudden storm. Unexpected and unwelcome.

The little mermaid had begged the King and Queen to reverse the curse. They did not comply.
The myth says that the little mermaid wept. He wept and wept until his tears flooded the surface, drowning the humans but one; his baby sister.
Only, the little mermaid did not reunite with his baby sister for he was one with the sea when he had no more tears left to shed.
The fishermen sometimes hear the little mermaids weeps, but there is no one there.

They've tried reaching out to some higher, bigger entity to fix their problem, but all always say the same. The police, the FBI, the church, they all think they're insane. Though they say it in other words, call it a placebo effect, or mass hysteria. Always winds up to the same solution, which is to say none. The townspeople have taken matter into their own hands, laws be damned.
