Like a magnetic pull, Yushi’s eyes automatically land on the left side of the field where he knows Riku is seated. The latter is already looking at him, hands clasped tightly together and eyes bright, mouthing the words ‘I believe in you’.
I believe in you, the words reverberate through his body, and he finds it easier to believe in himself too.
In which Yushi brings home a trophy, learns to believe in himself, and falls in love all over again with Riku. Exactly in that order.
