Summary
Caitlyn and Vi navigate their budding relationship as tensions between their sister cities- Piltover and Zaun- reach a boiling point. After a chance meeting in a blizzard, the two quickly fall for each other, not realizing they are opposite sides of the boundary line.
The story jumps around alot, as it follows their time together through four seasons, starting in the bitter cold of winter.

Summary
I was extremely disappointed by Arcane Season 2, especially with the handling of Vi's, Jinx's, and Caitlyn's story arcs, as well as the Caitlyn/Vi relationship. I hope this at least adds much-needed context to important scenes and fleshes things out.
I do not believe that Arcane was always planned to be two seasons. Season two was incredibly rushed by pushing at least two seasons' worth of content, and needed heavy rewrites.
As of December 5th, I have started uploading chapters and will upload one chapter a day until every chapter has been published.
As of December 7th, I am currently rewriting to make the story better.
As of December 17th, I am still working on rewrites, and am not sure how long it will take.
I have to mention Random Film Talk's videos on Arcane, because he did an incredible job of breaking down the difference in quality between the seasons, and also helped me understand just how terrible season 2 was. Link to channel: https://www.youtube.com/@randomft -

“Still being bold,” Vi said, her grin returning as her fingers closed around the woman’s hand. “And hoping you’ll remember tonight… in case it is just a passing moment and I don’t ever see you again.”
The woman opened her mouth, but no words came. Vi noticed the parts of her features not obstructed from the mask looked softer.
Vi leaned in slightly, close, but not yet touching. “Unless you don’t want to see each other again.”
The woman’s fingers flexed gently against Vi’s, holding her stare.
“I wouldn’t dream of that,” she said softly.

“This is yours?” she pokes it with the toe of her fucked up shoe. Good material, nice and rigid. The bin at the rec centre has a few, but they’re these lumpy things the kids like to smack each other with rather than kick.
The girl looks around. It should read as mocking- it comes across completely genuine. “There’s no one else here.”
“What’s in it for me?”
“I’ll… leave you alone?”
Vi smothers the urge to grin.
She groans instead, gets to her feet, and- outside part, right?- kicks the ball with the broad side of her foot. It gets the job done. Vi blinks, and the girl has the ball snug under her cleat. Huh.
“That was a good kick,” she says with the tiniest quirk of her lip, like she couldn’t believe it.
Vi is sixteen, and furious about it. Her sister's a target for Zaun High's bottom of the barrel, her city is given less grace than a dying roadside animal, and beyond being angry about these two specific things- she has nothing going on.
But one day, a chance escape to Zaun park's dingy soccer field, somehow, changes everything- and it all starts with a girl who really shouldn't be here.

Summary
Caitlyn is a top student, cheerleader, and athletic captain at Piltover Prep, an elite private school. Vi plays soccer at Zaun Public High School, Piltover's rival school.
Recent defunding of public schools in the area leads to the closing of Zaun HS, leaving an entire school of students without an education. Until the issue is resolved, the city council decides that ZHS will merge with Piltover Prep for the year.
Tensions are high as students are mixed into this new environment, and even higher on the newly reformed sports teams, forced to learn how to work together after years of rivalry.
Vi, to her own misfortune, manages to piss off Queen Bee Caitlyn Kiraman on the first day of school, making an enemy of the girl who controls her life in school sports.
She just made her life a whole lot harder...loosely inspired by the valentine’s day splash art (like really, really loosely)
