He has no choice but to reunite with his family so that he can get back to his friends. Will he make it in time, or is he too late and the war against Gaia has already been lost? How will Percy deal with learning Jason is alive, and how will the Bat family deal with the return of Perseus Jackson-Wayne after 5 years?

    Percy Jackson died in Tartarus leaving his adoptive family, the Waynes, to grieve their slay ice brother and son. Annabeth never expected Percy to die, but someone has to tell the family, so wracked with grief Annabeth goes to Gotham. Percy was 10 when his mother and step dad died in a accident in there apparent leaving him with the Wayne’s. They obviously loved Percy so how was Annabeth going to tell them that he died and in Tartarus none the less.

    Percy was 17 when he went to Tartarus, 17 when he died, and 17 when he woke up in a mysterious green sludge back in his home town.

    Peter Parker was tired.
    The all consuming, aching, bone-deep kind of tired that only ever came with way too much on one's plate. It was slow; agonizingly slow—his lungs strained as he breathed, and every time it became more difficult, like he was right back under that building, struggling to hold up hundreds of tons of concrete and rubble, unable to stop because if he stopped—that was it. No do-overs for Peter Parker. There would be—nothing.

    Percy Jackson was done. So, so incredibly over literally everything in the universe. He wanted to lay down and just—stop. Have the world slow down, and—for once in his goddamn life, rest peacefully.

    Neither of them get what they want, of course.

    Percy dreamed of water.
    Not the clean kind. Not beaches or pools or the lazy roll of waves under a summer sun. This water was dark and pressing and endless. It wrapped around his ribs and squeezed, not enough to hurt but enough to remind him that it could. He sank without moving, without fear, watching light fracture and disappear above him.
    He did not drown. That was the strangest part.
    He woke before dawn, lungs full and steady, heart beating slow and heavy like it had decided panic was optional. For a few seconds, he did not know where he was. The ceiling was unfamiliar. The room smelled faintly of old wood and something metallic. Not blood. Something sharper. Oil, maybe.
