Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte was given a contract : find the kidnapped wife of a powerful Magister, kill her abductor, and bring her back to Tevinter.
Simple enough. Or it would be, if only the abductor in question wasn't Emmrich Volkarin and the wife in question, who goes by Rook now, wasn't terrified of going back to her husband.... and if only Lucanis hadn't been betrayed by one of his own.

This started as a fill for the DAK asking for Lucanis to have a contract on Emmrich before the start of the game. It derailed from there, and now it's a multichapters story that goes into the events of the game itself.
Will eventually be Lucanis/Emmrich/Rook.

“Where’s Hawke?” The dwarf walked up to Alaslan, an angry look in his eyes. His giant crossbow did not look friendly.
“Who?” asked Lan, at the exact same time as Cassandra asked “That is the elf from Kirkwall?”
She had bared her blade once more, although she seemed to hesitate whether to use it on Lan or on the dwarf.
“What did I do, now?” asked Lan, genuinely curious.
“He said his name was Alaslan,” said Cassandra.
Nervous, Lan tucked his hair behind his ears, freeing his eyesight.
The dwarf stopped, squinting. “What is this? Some kind of trick?”
Lan raised his hands. “Is there an answer that doesn’t get me an arrow in the chest?”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems the Herald of Andraste looks a lot like Fenris, down to the lyrium tattooed into his skin. The problem is that Alaslan Lavellan has no idea who Fenris is. His own memories start three years before the Conclave, in a Dalish clan.

Ryland Grace has had a weird couple of years, but somehow, picking up a stray astronaut from Mars on his way home to Earth after a failed suicide mission winds up being MUCH weirder than the genuine space alien that’s hitching a ride with the two of them. But getting home was the easy part, escaping government detainment to rescue his new alien friend is shaking out to be much more difficult. Can he really trust the very same people who sent him into space to die against his will to help him get out of this mess? I guess we’ll find out!
Heavily inspired by the listed work below! I am loving this concept so much and can’t wait to write more about it! Thanks for checking out my fic! Also, as per my other fic as well, the “/////“‘s are to indicate the perspective switching.
