Summary

Sometimes, even the quietest moments in the city felt unbearably loud. In these woods, you could hear the snowflakes pile up upon one another.
Tonight, even the wildlife was eerily silent, as if they too were holed up somewhere warm to fight off the night’s chill. In hindsight, Yoongi longed to be like them, wrapped in strong, warm arms and buried under blankets. Now, he was miles deep in frozen woods that could easily swallow him whole.
If the woods were going to swallow him, he wished that they would get on with it.
He’d taken a seat on a snowy log, and looked up at the expanse of black sky above him. The stars peeked out from behind the bare branches, like they were playing hide and seek. Time almost ceased to exist, and Yoongi had wandered much farther than he’d intended.
