Summary
Dean’s entire life has been a string of bad luck: some because he’s suffered the consequences of drug kingpin John Winchester’s terrible decision-making, some because he seems to have inherited the trait. After being attacked in an alley, Dean is saved by a mysterious man in a trench coat. Castiel turns out to be a cop determined to arrest two key players in Chicago's illegal drug game; a corrupt politician, and a murderous drug dealer with a dark connection to Dean. He offers Dean an opportunity to turn his life around, in exchange for helping Cas gain access to these people. Their cover story? Castiel, or rather, 'Jimmy', is Dean’s new boyfriend.

Summary
Jack is distraught when a hopeless Dean meets his demise at the hands of a piece of rebar. As the new God, he knows all. He especially knows that Dean loves Cas as much as Cas loves Dean. So, discarding his commitment to remain hands off, he infiltrates the Empty to save his father, who he knows is the only person who can convince Dean to live again. But, when a sceptical Cas doesn't believe Dean reciprocates his love, Jack decides to show Cas some of the moments—tearing through Purgatory to find him, gazing at him through the window in Rexford, the aftermath of his death at the lake house, and so many more—that prove just how in love with him Dean really is.

Summary
Relegated as a conspiracy nutjob, John Winchester ignored the naysayers and built an underground bunker in preparation for the spread of a deadly virus he knew was coming. When the first few cases are reported, John flees to California to retrieve Sam, who didn’t believe his dad either, leaving Dean behind to hold down the fort. After months without contact with his family and the world descended into chaos, Dean ends up saving the life of a man trying to break into his home to seek refuge. Castiel is a doctor who has been on the run since witnessing the violent behavior of those infected. The two men form a bond, finding comfort in each other as they hide away from the end of the world.

Summary
When the Winchesters score a break between cases, they decide to let off some steam at a local dive bar, dragging Castiel along with them in the hope he also has some fun after being cooped up in the bunker recovering from Rowena’s attack dog spell. It turns out their chosen dive bar is hosting a karaoke night. Dean doesn’t waste any time, racing to the microphone. When Dean sings, his focus seems to be on Castiel, so the angel asks a drunken Sam to help him deduce the meaning of the songs. It goes… poorly.

Summary
Castiel’s father is dying.
As a registered nurse, he’s the obvious choice out of the four Novak boys to uproot his entire life to care for him, despite the fact that Castiel hasn’t spoken to his father in nearly 20 years. So he’s stuck living in rural Kansas with a cranky former pastor and a car that won’t run. Luckily the best mechanic in town takes interest in the broken-down classic, even convinces the old man to restore it. And that’s not the only thing Dean Winchester takes interest in.
Except in Lebanon there are things you just don’t do and Dean knows the rules. You wave at your neighbor, your butt is in the pew on Sunday and boys DO NOT kiss other boys. Castiel can’t be with a guy who’s still in the closet and Dean can’t convince Castiel that it’s safer that way.
That’s just how it is in Lebanon.

Summary
Between his fraught relationship with his sister and his tenuous place at his band's music label, Cas needs a distraction. He finds it in Dean, who's having his own issues with his brother's recovery from substance abuse and pressure from his dad (and band manager). After a stress-relieving one-night stand, Cas and Dean part on less than friendly terms, happy to never see each other again.
Months later, they find themselves back in close quarters as their rock bands tour together. With their negative first impressions behind them, Dean and Cas bond quickly, and with the allure of a convenient hook up, they fall into a secret friends-with-benefits relationship.
It's the perfect solution, until it's not. After all, Dean has a womanizing reputation to maintain, and Cas has been burned by closeted guys before.

Summary
Dean Winchester has spent his whole life cleaning up his father's messes. Now that his little brother, Sam, is settled in California and Bobby's got a handle on the garage, they convinced Dean to finally do something for himself. After a chance encounter at the Air Force recruitment fair Sam dragged him to, Dean got hooked on air traffic control, and he gets stationed at Kansas City Tower for his final leg of training. There, he has to impress his on-job instructor Castiel Novak, the ex-Air Force captain who piqued his interest in ATC in the first place. (And only in ATC. He swears. Those blue eyes and dark hair and stupid hat have nothing to do with it.) If all that wasn't hard enough, just one week into his OJT, Dean gets a call telling him his father is dying and has to move back home to live out his final days-which could be more like years.
Dean has to decide whether to continue to let his life be defined by his father's mistakes and his misguided obligation to everyone else, or if he's brave enough-and strong enough-to find a life in his own shape.

Summary
Just west of the town Porthgwarra, Cornwall, Robert Singer’s farm lies, a mess of ravaged land gaping out onto a fretting sea. Robert's orphaned godson, Dean Winchester, is named sole beneficiary of the farm - and though he hasn't seen his godfather in fifteen years, he travels across the Atlantic with his brother and half brother to care for Singer in his old age and tend to the farm. All of them hope to leave behind the squalor and famine of their old life.
What Dean meets is the bird-infested home of a widowed eccentric, and a new shepherd whom he can neither stand nor see any use for - stoic, rude and conceited, Dean plans to fire the mysterious and wandering Mr Novak the moment he comes into legal possession of the farm. But upon the shepherd's offer to teach him the trade, in anticipation of Dean replacing the man himself, Dean finds in the wild and roaming man a steadiness and certainty his own life has never yet contained. And one day Dean will have to ask, not tell, the shepherd to stay.

Summary
As a kid, Dean’s dreams were pretty straightforward: food, a roof over his head, and maybe – if he really let himself dream big – a family that wouldn’t kick him out the second he became more trouble than he was worth. College? Not on his radar. Suddenly he’s here, though – on a football scholarship and faced with the possibility that this time he might get to stay.
For someone more well-adjusted it would be a dream come true. For Dean it’s a nightmare of desperately keeping up appearances while he’s drowning in other people’s expectations.
At least until a game of Truth or Dare sends him face-first into the arms of Castiel Novak. Senior. Resident (ex-)drug dealer. Obnoxious literature major. Heavily tattooed and everything Dean is trying to leave behind.
Dean needs a favor and Castiel is all too willing to deliver. Unfortunately the offer comes with strings attached that go well beyond the fake relationship that Castiel asks for in return.
