IMPORTANT NOTE: This isn't being updated at the moment, it is only up as an archive.
Once the protagonist leaves, what's left for the world? Even if their story ends, the world keeps on going. People keep on growing and changing. And, most of all, time keeps on moving– Especially for those who still strive for their happy ending.
There's still a long life to live for many, and all of that time needs to be well spent.

Before Rei was transported into the past, he remembered seeing a tweet on Twitter with a very particular phrase:
“what modern day thing do you think would kill a hisuian era child? i think a single serving of gigantamax curry would wipe them out”When he searched his pants for anything useful, he still felt a pack of Warheads sour candy in his pocket.
He knew what he needed to do.

Cynthia probably shouldn't tell this man that she's from the future.
"I'm from the future," Cynthia says.
Or: local history/mythology nerd (among other things) ends up in Hisui. Surely nothing can go wrong with this.

Very interesting, I haven't been more intrigued with Cynthia and her character before this. It's fun, thought provoking, and the author is quite kind. Haven't been this excited to see the update email for an AO3 fic before this one.
