Summary
What Grant does know is this: sometimes, he doesn’t feel completely human, or completely alive at all. Sometimes things get on his nerves for no reason and he thinks he might explode. And on days like those, he rides around the city at top speeds, keeping his mind quiet by listening to music that’s so loud it leaves his ears ringing afterwards.
He doesn’t pay much attention to the road or the path- he doesn’t need to. Everything is auto-pilot here. Being conscious is dangerous. Being conscious doesn’t matter.
And that, exactly, is why Grant crashes his fucking bike.

"I can see it," she said, and kissed the corner of his mouth. "You're radiant with it. I haven't seen you in new love in years."
Upon their return from the Forgotten Realms, Henry and Darryl each have a lot of things to sort out about their relationships with their wives, themselves - and each other.

Ron tilts his head. Darryl eyes him, looks back at the road, and continues. “Love and affection. Have you felt those things about him?”
Ron diverts his gaze.

Terry spins the umbrella between his thumb and his forefinger. He shrugs, glancing at the clock. “She’ll get off work in a couple hours anyway,” He points out, which is objectively true, “and the drive is long, too. Even if you called, she wouldn’t be here, like… quickly, I guess.”
It’s not a real answer. Ron lets them beat around the bush for a while longer. Mostly because he doesn’t want to call Samantha home early either.
Still, Terry comes first. Ron would call Samantha if Terry wanted her back.

He doesn’t know why the bringing back of his period takes him so off-guard.
