Summary
When Shenhe imagined falling in love, this is not what she pictured. She pictured settling for someone, being moderately happy, being able to love someone enough to settle down. She wasn’t completely sure what it would feel like, but she never would’ve expected this. The unsureness of it all makes Shenhe’s insides swirl.

She pictures Ganyu’s smile, her genuine smile that she would flash once in a blue moon, the dimple on her left cheek. The breathless laugh that she lets out when Shenhe says something amusing. The air of strength that she emits naturally, though she tries to be soft.
She was perfect.

Kafka is playing out the script in a time loop. If something goes wrong, it’s not a problem: just die and start over. She’s on her 996th, soon to be 997th, loop. And sweet, darling, horrible Himeko shouldn’t remember a thing, so she can repeat their mistakes over and over — that is, until Himeko finds a cryptic message that messes her perfect looping life up.

Collection: Hoyo
This particular work is one of my favourites in the whole HSR fandom, even though I’m not a very big fan of Himeko/Kafka.
But if you like well written Fanfics with actual interesting ideas and plot - this is one of them. Strongly recommend. -
