Oikawa laughs and leads them inside, laughs again when Hajime crawls after him into his bed like they’re back in middle school. In the warmer light Hajime notices the faint flush of his cheeks and pulls the duvet up to his nose. It’s unfair, how pleasure looks on Oikawa. What it does to Hajime’s useless little brain, how it programs him to go extraordinary lengths, just for the knowledge of having played a part in it.

Summary
Hajime didn’t really know in which part of his miserable, filled with longing existence, Oikawa Tooru decided that his main goal in life was to drive him utterly, blatantly, fatally insane.
He watched dumbly as Tooru—smirk back on his pretty face—carefully, unhurriedly slid his damp towel from his shoulder, gaze never leaving Hajime’s, and attentively, deliberately glided the towel through his chest, slowly tracing the path up to his neck, titling his head back and exposing the curve of his Adam’s apple.
Hajime’s eyes widened; his mouth parted open. Tooru let out a small puff of air at that, his lips curving into a self-satisfied smile.--

Summary
Iwaizumi’s eyes carve a line that runs along the length of Oikawa’s spine, pausing when they reach the spot where his hands have settled — a little above his hips.
He resists the urge to do something foolish like stroking his side with his thumb, or drawing Oikawa towards him until his back is firmly pressed against his own chest. Briefly, he imagines what it would be like; to feel every exhale that passes through Oikawa’s chest as though it were his own; to allow his hands to roam freely, exploring warm skin and listen to the way Oikawa’s breath hitches when Iwaizumi’s fingertips dip below the waistline of his pants.
Inhaling sharply, Iwaizumi quickly retracts his hands when they reach their destination.

Summary
Watching Iwaizumi like this, Tooru feels like a spectator of his life, not like he’s actually here, trying to be a part of it. It’s bizarre. They never used to need to fill every silence when they revolved around each other like planets in orbit - unequivocal, absolute. This insecurity is like a sudden knife to Tooru’s gut carving out the reality of the matter, which is, ultimately, that he doesn’t know how to be around Iwa-chan anymore.
It feels like they’re a rubber band being stretched back back back, pulled taught with a tension that will only resolve itself when it snaps. Tooru doesn’t know what it means for them if they let it snap.

it’s a nondescript day in argentina; the sweltering summer has sealed the windows shut and a small fan keeps their skin cool to the touch. long limbs sprawl across oikawa’s twin sized bed and iwaizumi’s reading a museum brochure out loud in spanish for practice. when he’s finished, he looks over and asks oikawa what he wants to do. oikawa smiles.
“you, iwa-chan,” he answers and that’s how oikawa tooru politely asks his best friend, iwaizumi hajime, to screw him into the mattress.

"Wakatoshi-kun! Ow! That hurts!" he squawks evilly, playing dirty by getting Coach Washijou's attention.
"Ushijima! What are you doin' over there?"
Wakatoshi lets go like Tendou's hands are on fire. "Nothing. Sorry."

Of course if there was one thing that could be counted on, it was Ushijima’s blunt, total honesty. “Do you think Tendou is attracted to me?”
Reon froze. “T-Tendou?”
“Yes.”
Tendou was notoriously hard to read, but Reon kind of figured that he wasn’t the type to be anything less than painfully overt with romantic affections.
“I... I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I think if Tendou was attracted to you, he would let you know,” Reon said. “I'd guess he just considers you his best friend.” He hoped his answer would satisfy whatever frenzy the guy had worked himself into so Reon could finally take advantage of his last precious hours of sleep.
But instead, Ushijima visibly deflated in front of him. “Yes. That’s what I thought too,” he said miserably.
