Hinata frowned at him, but Atsumu didn’t have time to take in the pity. Someone walking into the apartment complex caught his eye. Ushijima Wakatoshi. The man Sakusa had a crush on all throughout high school. Atsumu’s eyes widened, making Hinata whip his head to see what Atsumu was looking at.
“Is that..?” Hinata gawked.
“Yes,” Atsumu lost all his breath. Out of all the people in the world, it was Ushiwaka. Of course it would be him.

Suna’s ears start ringing the moment those words fully register in his head. And then all too suddenly, and completely against his will, Suna is remembering:
