Alastair closed the door, turned to Thomas sitting on the bed and slowly walked over. Thomas’ eyes followed Alastair as he came over and sat by him. Alastair reached up to cup his face and, wiping a tear away with his thumb, said, “What can I do?”
“Make me forget.” Thomas whispered, and Alastair took a deep breath before leaning in to press his lips gently to Thomas’. They both leaned away just a breath and looked at each other for a second before Alastair crashed into Thomas.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summary
Every term, the whole school would get together to have a secret Quidditch match during the night, outside of the professors’ knowledge. Of course, the staff did know, as the students were nowhere near as subtle as they all thought they were, and after a while they had begun to bet one another on who would win. It was the one night a term that houses didn’t matter. The teams were randomly allotted by some magical machine that the Weasley twins had conjured up, and no-one knew until the day what team they would be in.
Though Harry knew that he should be focusing on the game, he couldn't stop his mind straying to Draco Malfoy. But he couldn't help it; Draco really was an excellent Seeker. He’s also a terrible person, Harry reminded himself. But still, you would be a fool to deny that the boy had skill. Harry’s eyes followed Draco, and he felt a stab. Nerves for the coming game, he told himself.

Gansey began to move ahead of them, so Ronan started up the car and followed him out of the parking lot.
After a moment, Adam placed his hand on Ronan’s right hand that was rested on his thigh. The touch, however light, was comforting.
“Gansey died here, man.” Ronan said, the realisation of it too big to keep to himself.
“I know.” Ronan heard Adam’s voice catch.Some in between Pynch scenes from when they discover Glendower dead up until directly after Gansey's resurrection.

“Have you considered the possibility that Neil has chosen you, but believes you have not chosen him?” Renee says. "Have you ever explicitly told him what you want?”
“Neil knows what I want,” Andrew snaps. This is not Andrew’s fault.
“How do you know?”
Because Neil always knows. He is as fluent in Andrew’s micro-expressions as he is in German and French. He knows which head tilts mean “go on” and which ones mean “shut up.” Without ever asking, he learned what it meant to see Andrew wearing double layers of long sleeves, or taking multiple showers in a day, and learned to hand Andrew the car keys.
That has always been the most terrifying thing about Neil — his patience to wait, watch, listen, learn. The prospect that if Neil were given enough time, there would be no part of Andrew that was just Andrew’s anymore.
“He has to know,” Andrew says.
“Does he?” Renee says. “Have you ever known Neil to assume that he is wanted?”
Five times Neil tells someone that he and Andrew aren’t dating, and one time Andrew uses his words to set the record straight.

Summary
They’re in what Ronan has come to think of as their bedroom, lying down on what Ronan has come to think of as their bed, surrounded by toys from Ronan’s childhood and countless dreams that had been his father’s, countless dreams that are his. Adam might not live here, not officially, but there is a pile of books of his on the desk, one of his potted plants — a barely grown Coleus in a small ceramic pot Maura gifted him as a graduation present — on the windowsill to soak up the sun, drawers in the closet with half his clothes mixed with Ronan’s. His gloves set upon his shoes in the mudroom.
Ronan opens his eyes, and finds Adam already looking back.
