He knows them better than Crozier, so wrapped in himself that he missed probably countless opportunities to head off Hickey’s mutinous designs, could ever hope to know them.
And what’s more, Henry knows it, too; he feels a small, burning pleasure at the fact that Crozier isn’t the man that the rescuers have been asking questions about the expedition members to. It’s Henry instead, and he hopes, absolutely desires, that Crozier is completely aware of that fact. Hopes it poisons him from the inside like whatever the hell it was he poured down James’ throat.

Eine Veranstaltung war im Gange, ein Zusammentreffen von Soldaten, die für ihren Einsatz an der Front ausgezeichnet worden waren, hier in diesem Haus, das er für ein paar Jahre sein Zuhause hatte nennen dürfen. Und das war es gewesen, sein Zuhause. Rückblickend war seine Zeit in Button House, obwohl sie inmitten eines Krieges stattfand, die glücklichste Zeit im Leben von Captain James T. Willoughby gewesen. Und während er seinen Beruf und sein Projekt geliebt hatte, dem Charme des alten Hauses und den Ländereien verfallen gewesen war, so war es am Ende doch eine Person gewesen, die diesen Ort für ihn zu einem Zuhause hatte werden lassen.
Was wäre wenn Havers und Cap im Vorraum der Veranstaltung aufeinander getroffen wären?

Marlene’s perfect for him, even Remus can see that. Sirius deserves someone like her.

Remus isn’t jealous of Sirius and Marlene. On the contrary: he gets it. They look good together. So if they want to dance at the post-quidditch-match party, that’s alright. It’s fine, and Remus’ll demonstrate as such by having some fun of his own. Upcoming full moon be damned.
