Flowers rose up from the ashes of the ruins around the kingdom. The king stands over the patches of Lillie’s peaking out over the burnt rubble. He smiles. The king picks them from their stems and places them across the grave of his parents. “Hm.”
He turns around and looks out onto the expanse of forest. There is rebuilding to be done. The memory of the battle flashes into his mind and something dark in his heart blisters. Revenge. The king puts his fathers sword back in its sheath, putting on his fur collared cape. Revenge for his parents and castle will be bloody. The king looked up at the sky, staring at the sun as it shone through the smoke. I will avenge it. He turned back to his parents graves and glared. They would pay for what they have done. He would continue their work and rid the earth of those unforgiving creatures. Those monstersThe blister in his heart began to fester. Oozing black. The king. The newly appointed king. He would reek his revenge across the world until every one of those cursed souls were wiped out. Slain in the name of him.
Now he had a purpose for his foul wound. The dragons would all die. King Bakugou would make damn sure of that.
