“I just want you to find someone so you don’t have to be alone all the time.” But I’m not, Seungcheol is right here, he wanted to say, but he knew it wouldn’t be enough for his mother.
He couldn’t place what urged him to do what he did next, perhaps it was still some of the shame he felt, but the motivation more likely came from a place of annoyance. “Actually, Eomma, I’m seeing someone at the moment.”
He vaguely felt Seungcheol’s confused gaze on him. “It’s still fresh. I think it’s too early for the whole meeting-the-parents bit.”
“Really? You have to tell me all about them!” His mother was audibly excited. “What’s their name? What are they working as? Do I know them?”
Overwhelmed by all the questions, he did the first best (stupid) thing that came to mind. “You know him. It’s Seungcheol.”

Even the wind stopped whistling as it played with the leaves of the weeping willow. “I do not have followers, I do not have believers, and I do not accept devotion from anyone. You will never become a believer of mine,” Minho said, his words echoing the vow he had made to himself when he had been thrown out of the heavens. "You do not belong."
Or; it isn't unheard of for a human to fall in love with a deity, but it is most peculiar when a god falls for a mortal. Minho doesn't think he will ever be able to trust a human again, but somehow Chan manages to make his way into Minho's heart.

“I can see that,” Chan nodded and spared the bedroom another look over his shoulder. “Those aren’t official.”
“No,” Minho replied and cursed himself a little more. Of course, his ego was big enough to plaster his room with pictures of Chan he had taken himself.
“So you’re a fansite,” Chan said, and didn’t even have the decency to make it a question.

“I’d rather die than be like you,” Minho sneered, his heart pounding in his chest.
“Big surprise,” Chan said in faux shock. “Is the big mighty witch afraid of a bit of teeth?”
Or, Minho finds himself accidentally mated to Chan, the werewolf whose hatred for Minho is rivaled only by Minho’s hatred for him. The worst part of it all? It’s all Minho’s fault.
