AKA, me and my friend started a writing rp where Tommy wants to be a vigilante and Wilbur becomes a bad guy but the story took several different turns.This is all prewritten and ongoing over the last couple months, as a fun thing with me and my friend, Ari, and I'll be editing it and posting it in chapters. Since it was written as an rp rather than dead on fic, there's scenes rather than full chapters, but we'll make it work. Basically, we wrote/are writing this for us but you can read it too :D

Remus had always been the unloved child. Roman was the golden child, the boy who could do no wrong, the crown prince and heir to the throne. He was adored by everyone, and he simply basked in the glory and riches showered upon him. And Remus, unlucky by three measly minutes, was all but cast in the shadows.
He watched as Roman grew, as he came into his own, relishing in the frivolity and carelessness of the palace life. He didn’t see the world as Remus did. The thing about being hidden in the shadows is that no one notices if you’re gone. And it makes it very easy to see everything behind a cloak of darkness.

She seemed somehow even more beautiful than Andy could remember. Like a newly sharpened sword glimmering in the light. Andy stepped forward as Quynh slowly stood, not breaking her gaze from the blade. “Quynh…” Her voice was barely a whisper, a desperate choke of her name. As those calculating dark eyes fell onto her, Andy felt her entire being shake with a helplessness and a surrender to the woman. She felt her knees hit the wood, but nothing else mattered as she stared into Quynh’s eyes.
“Andromache.” Quynh’s voice was soft in volume, but Andy could hear the hurt louder than any explosion. “It’s been a long time.”

Lance McClain constantly dreams of the day he'll finally meet his mysterious soulmate. They don't say much, if anything at all, but they leave him with gorgeous paintings temporarily tattooing his skin. It's not exactly the situation he hoped for, but when he feels the connection between them, he can't bring himself to resent them. As much as he wishes his soulmate would just talk to him, he's resigned himself to being patient. In the meantime, he has a loving family and good friends to help him get by.
Keith Kogane dreads the day he'll finally meet his obnoxious soulmate. He's just an art student who's struggling to find his place in the world. There's so much he hasn't been able to control in his life, and the thought of having a soulmate, just another thing in his life which he also has no control over yet can't do anything about, is a little terrifying. So he ignores the words that occasionally appear on his skin. He has other things to focus on: like being a new student at a big university where his childhood friend and step-brother go.
